Raquel Teitler, certified life coach and expressive arts workshop facilitator

Hi, I'm Raquel

I’m a coach and creative guide, and I’ve always been interested in the different ways people come to know themselves more honestly. Sometimes insight comes through conversation. Sometimes it comes through creativity, expression, and the unexpected sideways entry points that gently open up what feels stuck.

I’ve always believed depth and joy can exist in the same space. Some of our biggest insights happen when we’re making, exploring, noticing, and allowing ourselves to engage with the process instead of trying to force an answer.

For me, that “something else” has always been creativity.

It’s why I created Discover Your Inner Canvas. Creativity is one of the most powerful and underused ways we have to understand ourselves. It gives you access to what thinking alone can’t reach.

Photography, in particular, has been one of the most unexpected teachers in my work. Over time, I saw it could be more than a creative outlet. It could be a mirror. A method.

That shifted how I see creative expression as a whole. The process becomes the way in. Whether you’re working with photography, creating a collage, or using mixed media, you’re making real-time decisions that reveal how you see, what you notice, what matters.

That’s where the insight lives. What you create holds your perspective, your patterns, your energy. And through that, you start to see yourself more clearly and uncover something real about who you are.

This space is for people who want more of that.

You don’t need to be “creative” in the traditional sense. You just need a willingness to show up, stay curious, and see what unfolds.

If you're looking for more traditional one-on-one coaching, I also have a private practice.. You can learn more here.

What Our Participants Say

"I walked in thinking I wasn’t 'artistic' enough to be there, but that feeling evaporated within ten minutes. There’s something so liberating about a space where the goal isn't to make a masterpiece, but just to see what comes out on the page. I’ve started looking forward to these sessions as my 'mental reset'—it’s the one time a week I actually put my phone away and reconnect with myself alongside a really supportive group of women."
